Barkley Watersports, LLC was founded in 2016 by Chase and Crystal Schrecker, who have both enjoyed the Lake Barkley/LBL areas and boating for many years!
We both grew up around the water and consider ourselves "boat people." We love everything about Cadiz, KY and the surrounding communities, and our longtime dream has been to live at the lake.
Chase was raised on the gulf in Florida. He always enjoyed jet skis, especially during hurricane season! He had a passion for jet skis, tubing, and the lake life, which he enjoyed to the fullest until his unexpected passing on June 27, 2022. Chase’s favorite boat was a Boston Whaler.
Crystal grew up in Kentucky and her family has been "weekend warriors" at Lake Barkley since she was 8-years-old. She has always enjoyed boating, tubing, water skiing, and wake boarding. Her favorite boat is a Hatteras.
Our two babies (furry and four-legged): Sweet Summer is a 10-year-old black and tan coonhound/beagle mix and Bossy Baby Sandy is a 9-year-old boston terrior. Even our babies and their buddies love boating and the water. They can never seem to get enough of it!
We appreciate the opportunities and support we have been given by family, friends, and business partners throughout our journey starting Barkley Watersports, LLC.
